Street Style 2011: Pink but not girly

If I described to you a skirt that was knee-length, full, pink, and dotted by rows of heart-shaped cutouts, odds are you’d imagine something terrifically (or terrifyingly) girly. Possibly something a 5 year old should be wearing. But this picture tells a different story.

The pink of the skirt is muted, the overall feel is clean – almost sporty. And, when paired with a simple dark green knit and tortoise-rimmed sunglasses, it’s impossibly effortless and cool.

Snapped by the vigilant lens of Vanessa Jackman, the outfit was worn by Anna Laub in Paris.
